Hi! My name is Daniel, and I’m currently a Biology major on the Pre-Med track at the University of Richmond. Originally from Nicaragua, I’ve made Virginia my new home as I pursue my passion for science and medicine.
I’m especially fascinated by neuroscience and love exploring the intersection between biology and technology. One of my favorite topics to talk about is immunology—macrophages, in particular, are my favorite cells (I like to call them “little assassins” for the way they hunt down pathogens).
Outside of academics, I enjoy working on personal projects involving AI, Python, robotics, and photography. I’m always looking for new challenges, especially when it comes to optimizing and experimenting with my Linux server setup.
When I’m not immersed in coding or science, you’ll find me enjoying my other interests—cars, horses, and science fiction movies (Star Wars is a favorite!). I also love listening to rock music to unwind and stay inspired.
